After crashing on a mysterious, artificial planet a few years ago, the Spiral Knights have finally managed to make progress in their search for a path to the core. However, a threat larger than ever looms over their newfound home of Haven, and the city's native inhabitants turn to the Spiral Knights to save them. Wolver Squad, while still considered green, have proven themselves time and again that they can handle the difficult and perilous tasks asked of them, and once again have been sent to deal with this threat. Without their larger than life squad leader, however, the squad begins to wonder if they'll be able to succeed this time, not to mention make it back alive.
