so I have a series on tapas that I started a very long time ago and then went on a hiatus for two years and relaunched last December. It's natural that the artstyle changed a lot, I also went from black and white to colours and there is a lot of outdated art, but here's my problem: I can't update the first episode of my series, the files don't show up in the "upload files" section, so I can't switch any of them out anymore and the episode seemingly loads forever. (but strangely enough, the files do show up normally when you read the comic as a viewer and not in the editing mode)
I have been in contact with the tapas support since earlier this year, and the person I was in contact with tried a few things and then said they'd talk to the team, but now they stopped replying completely, so maybe someone here can help me instead?
It is very frustrating that readers think a different person drew the cover and later art or they don't get that far when the different drawing style throws them off. I at least want to put a reminder in the first episode, telling them that the artstyle changed.
Can anything be done about this? Did anyone encounter the same problem? Please help! Here are some screenshots of what I see when I click on "edit episode" and the link to my comic:
