So I decided to draw this for my friend @alliascompany after I realized that tow of her characters from her comic were just basically Mario and Luigi....
I kinda hate it but it's done, I guess
In a way they are XD
Yeah, I guess so... (Heck, they even have the fire and electricity power down pat as well.) XD
(Honestly, I would totally play an RPG in the style of the Mario & Luigi RPGs with the Seasons.)
Put together my 2019 art vs artist piece:
I finished this glass/crystal sign which is in my comic that i uploaded yesterday as well !
A WIP headshot of a smol OC for practice.
Hey, that looks really good! You've come a long way as an artist since your last drawing! Keep up the good work!
I've recently been experimenting with a new color palette for the protagonist of my comic, Flare. I feel he's coming along really well, but I also feel he's missing just that extra "pop" if that makes sense. So some feedback on him would be appreciated.
did a digital trace. i like the original sharpie but nothing matches seeing will in his dusty rose hair color
For some reason just love this panel from my webcomic.
This looks one of those "Explain this screen" memes if you've ever seen them.
That's a cool character design and it has an appealing color palette. As for feedback, maybe desaturate the eye brows and hair a bit.
Ah, thank you so much for the feedback! Yeah, I've been fiddling a bit with the hair color to make it less bright for a while, but haven't quite figured out that sweet spot between too colorful and too washed out that I'm going for.
Day 19!
crowd shot WIP...
And here is the new and improved Flare. I'm trying to experiment a bit more with a simpler, more "down-to-earth" color palette for my characters that would be more appropriate for a fantasy comic like what I'm going for. (Pink flame hair stays, though.) What do you guys think?
Sonic the Hedgehog--Chili Dog Break!
WIP continues. Inks are done.
