Genre: Fantasy
Update: Every Tuesday

As a larger girl, I like making bigger characters in my story. The main character Kiro is a beautiful larger girl who is more on the softer side than muscular. There are also other characters my favorite being Hakadamuya who is a time witch who is a larger-than-life woman close to seven feet and curvy as can be. I have a few larger males like Kiro's father, a big man who's strong and kind. I like making a wide variation of sizes in my story but I do tend to have my heroes and heroines as larger people because as a kid a lot of the stories I read didn't have any who looked like me.

I feel this. it's the same reason i want to write larger characters into my stories in future, and why having a black girl with natural hair as the princess of my comic was so important to me. I legit cried talking to my siblings about it, but i want little black girls of the next generation to know they're princesses, i didn't have that.

It's also why i draw myself and my creation partner as our round fuller figured selves rather than skinny-fying us:

Well, I finally have designs for both Charlie Horse, and BF's high school friend, Belle Rainey.

(Ignore the dude next to Belle, she's married to a goth magician).

Charlie Horse XDDD seriously that's the name?

I think Charlie Horse is an amazing name :sob: I’m angry at myself for not thinking up that one! Also is she a bounty hunter? She’s giving those vibes :sparkles: Cowboy themed characters are cool.

She hunts supervillains using sticky (literally) bombs! She throws them like the character Gyro from JJBA. She's like a bounty hunter...except she hunts mutant cops...and doesn't kill anyone.:joy: And thank you!

I love funky names honestly, be bold >:0!!! And she’s a non lethal bounty hunter? I mean I guess that could be more beneficial to some clients honestly! Instead of “wanted dead or alive” it’s specifically ALIVE. She’s just found her niche market :sparkles::relieved:

Umm, isn't that just called kidnapping then lol? I'm don't think that's a niche, it's actually an oversaturated market, especially in stories where everyone is just one obsessive crush away from joining the party

Well....It's more than that. She hunts mutant supervillains but brings them in alive. She's like a wrangler for The Blue Fedora.

And yes...it is kidnapping...but IN HER DEFENSE THOSE MUTANT COPS ARE MEAN AS HECK.

I think the difference would be that she’s a bounty hunter which means she would get paid to kidnap? I think that makes it not so much run of the mill weird obsessive crush, I doubt anyone’s crushing on the nasty cops :sob: I’m rooting for her honestly those guys look like they pose a real threat.

lol, but paid kidnapper is a thing in other series as well, especially to kidnap super-powered people

She used to be more of a “basic princess” shape when I first designed her, but she was supposed to be more of the “strong” type. It took me a while to figure out how to draw her right, but I finally got it. I guess you can’t really tell with her shoulders turned sideways, but just take my word for it.
(Her name is Gale) (she’s a healer who threatens to punch people)

that sounds counter intuitive lol. but a girl could have a cliche princess type body type and still be strong, body type doesn't define your strength

Essence Walker, the female lead of my new novel "A Dozen Morning Glories"

She may not look it, but Khazmine's a heavier gal (although, that's probably because she's a technology golem from an alien world :joy:) Her shape is pear-ish, though she can reconfigure her plates to assume almost any roughly human-shaped individual.

Not terribly. She's an inorganic life form, partially made out of metal, which adds to her weight.

she totally looks like a different species from the rest of them

I was debating having her be a mutated human vs an alien...but I think I'll keep her a mutated human.

well that would explain why she looks so different lol

This is my female lead, she's not thin by any means, and she's very very short. But also flipping gorgeous so thanks byeeee

Still practicing drawing my tall queen FL Essence Walker

My webcomic has a female lead and antagonist.
Name: Avani Stagus
Age: 25
Height: 5'10
Weight: 195 lbs.
Occupation: Special Enforcer Operator.
Personality Traits: Dutiful & Compassionate.

Rn in my comic most of the main characters are NB, zoha is kinda a girl, but theyre pretty twiggy (unless you count amputee as non-standard, which is fair), Qam and Alya are kinda fem, but alya is notably skinny for plot reasons. But there is a wonderful lady in my comic with a... non-standard body type. Give it up for the curator!!

I love a big robot woman :heart_03:. She's such a silly little (giant) freak, I love her so much.

I think being an amputee counts as nonstandard, I counted my ML as nonstandard, despite fitting most beauty conventions for being paralyzed

Cocoa Giang (though I didn't shade this picture) is canonically the complexion of cocoa powder. she's also slightly short (5'3) and very petite, without much in the way of curves, though people might often thing she's chubby because she usually wears oversized hoodies and naturally has a very round almost baby face (she's 21, bet you wouldn't guess that lol)

Heyoooo

So, I just wanted to leave here the link to my baby, SCARS OF THE FUTURE. It´s a MEAN baby, but it´s great. As a bisexual I always wanted to write a bisexual character. Well. Now I have Ivar, my mess of a leading lady!! She has the kind of arms I DREAM of... and a husband and wife. If I didn´t know her backstory, I´d want to be here so bad.

So. Here´s a taste of today´s shoulders- I mean, today´s update...

If it intrigues you, here´s the link...

And if it tickles ya, do subscribe and like!!

My plus-sized tall queen princess from "Rigamarole" (no, she's not literally a princess like @beebutterbee 's Chariot, she's really more of a knight in shining armor in context of the novel XD)

My tall queen Essence from "A Dozen Morning Glories."

Okay she's a queen. Periodt. She looks borderline magical to me (and to Dominic kkkkkkkkkkkk

okay i'm sorry bye.)

My pretty princess Alicia, yet again in her "Blase Couture" dress (as she called it.) I figured I'd go with a look I saw Rosie Perez in a few days ago. It's very simple, but it suits her well.

The five labors of drawing Leia Taylor

  1. learning to draw aquiline noses
  2. learning to draw narrower lips
  3. learning to draw rectangle builds
  4. learning to draw circular faces
  5. learning to draw tall girls

I'm dying a tiny bit. lol

Finally got a good drawing of Leia from "Rigamarole" after a lot of trial and error lol.
