Hey y'all! So I wanted to get some opinions.

I started working on Our Sanctuary, almost immediately after purchasing Clip Studio Pro. Now that I've gotten the hang of it, I've been really wanting to redraw at least the first two chapters.

My conundrum is that I have limited time balancing work and life and the comic. I've thought of two possible solutions.

1. Prioritize the upcoming story, continue working on the upcoming chapters and redo and release chapter 1 and 2 when I have time.
2. Prioritize chapters 1 and 2 updating them and releasing them like normal chapters, delaying the story progress by a month or two.

My intent is to redraw the whole thing from scratch.

How dire do you think it is that I redo my first two chapters?

Hi, honestly, if you feel that you want to redraw the whole thing from scratch then I think the best thing to do is to redraw chapters 1 and 2 and release them. Sure you might delay the story by a month or two, but in the end, if you plan on re-drawing the entire comic and then re-releasing it, won't you just have more work to do in the long run?

At least this way, you can release 1 and 2 with the new drawings and then you can update and redraw the others as you go along, rather than having to do everything twice over. Seems to me that if you want to balance you comic with your life, that's the best option.

In any event, that's just my two cents . In the end, what ever you do is up to you.

I'm in a similar predicament. I decided to go down the "remaster" route. I just draw over the shoddy linework I want to clean up in csp and then color over it. Much easier than me redrawing everything.

Hi. I think if you plan to redraw the whole thing I think (1) Prioritize the upcoming story, continue working on the upcoming chapters and redo and release chapter 1 and 2. This would be a good idea. All the best with your upcoming work.

I would say prioritize the story. I feel like you'll keep the flow better that way, and your readers will be happy! It's also possible to lose motivation if you take a long break. You can go a little slower, though, so you've got a bit more free time for redrawing :3 just strike a balance, and you can always change your approach as you're going. beautiful art, btw!! rly fun!!! i think the redraw is gonna be awesome, and I subbed so I can see that process.

Hm, my suggestion is to do more than just 1st and 2nd chapter because you'll never be happy with them, you will always find some mistake only you can see because you are looking at it as your own creation and not good comic/novel . So its better to do more and then go back and fix it, after all we learn from mistakes.

Well, I been also thinking of doing something similar on paper for my manga but a bit better so I get where you're coming from. If you feel the need to stop everything to make it perfect, take all the time you need to do so.

I suggest just to keep you first two as is and as you get better it'll show in your drawings. I think it shows growth and just getting better at your craft.

Prioritize the upcoming story is the better option for me, the old ones just show how much you've improved over time when compared to your newer chapters

Well if you are on a tight schedule, I can see the need to get it done as fast as possible. But if your not, then the more time it takes, the better. But that would all depend on how well your intern does.

I have to say if you want to redraw, go for it. But my opinion and my experience, the time I decided to start to translate my comic to tapas. I once thinking about redraw the first 20 episodes, but after I decide not to. Because it is part of my evolution, it is my past even look how old it was. But I'm sure redraw and make it look better is definitely benefit you more.
