Kaito, the protagonist, begins a rescue mission to save Yume, his companion, who has been arrested by the Reketai, the organization that administers justice. All of this is connected to what happened during the Shinkase Incident.
The story is a dark fantasy with a combat system based on the power of spirits. However, Kaito does not possess these abilities.
His only weapons are his blades, which are currently located in Yorigakure.
