Old and new author here. I've posted on Tapas before, but my current project is my first novel in a long time.
Aurora, is a classic adventure fantasy reminiscent of the fantastical worlds of Studio Ghibli movies with the silliness and fun found in the early days of Dragon Ball.
Synopsis: Nira, a young woman driven by the thrill of the unknown, travels the vast continent of Mara with her best friends; Lio, a psychic elf, and Blueberry, their trustworthy shape-shifting bird. Together they aim to uncover the mysteries Mara offers. The biggest mystery, however, is the ever-looming shadows of Nira's past. The betrayal of her mentor. The cult-like religion of her people. Not to mention three years of torture as a guinea pig in the Hain Kingdom. Nira might have escaped her prison, but now brandishes permanent scars, both in body and mind, as a symbol of that timeâall memories of a different Nira, one that she would rather forget.
