This novel is the second in a series I have been working on. It is a somewhat fantasy romance about a young man being confronted with tragedy and realizing that there is a hidden world beside his own, one that he is fated to save.
In this world of abilities and gifts, Aiden is just an ordinary man. But he is a man with something to prove and maybe that's enough. Sometimes gifts show themselves in unusual ways, and perhaps this world is worth saving.
But, just under the surface, secrets and lies begin to taint this new reality. Can Aiden trust everything he hears? Can he trust the people he is starting to care for?
And is family bound by blood or by love?
Aiden must decide what side he's on. He must decide whether sacrifice is worth the victory. And he must do so before it's too late, before war can make that decision for him. Sometimes villainry and heroism share the same passion, the same pain, the same story.
