Lyra, Valir and a group of knights are staying in Ulvenwood's dark forest. Their first mission together is not over yet,
Having been attacked by a wolf pack earlier, they camp at the abandoned ancient ruins.
Small secret glances between Lyra and Valir, make her heart beat in an unusual way,
"Their glances were always measured and brief. Fleeting. A nod, a faint smile.
At first, she had believed it was because she was being watched over.
Today, she couldn't tell with certainty.
Or perhaps she did not want it to be that simple.
The thought made her freeze in place.
"Pull yourself together, Lyra," she whispered to herself.
She spread the long cloak she wore on the ground, lay down on it, and stubbornly closed her eyes."
