Although I don't mark my novels as mature, there are a lot of mature themes explored in them.

In Dark Bytes, some of the short stories touch on themes such as self-preservation, gaming addiction, infringement on privacy and freedom, fake news, and masochism.

My current novel, Devil's Triangle, also focuses on surveillance, privacy, and the grey line of morality.

Mature for sexual jokes mostly, but little did people know jokes about taxes and gibbeting are also coming.

For now mature for violence/abuse episodes and overall cruelty characters exhibit. And idk, it starts with kidnapping which doesn't get sugar coated later on and revealed to be terrible and stressful to the victim of kidnapping rather than "happy accident which helped them meet".

'Through Hell or High Water' is based in a fantasy world called Ila, which was torn apart a thousand years ago by a war between the Void and the waking realm. Catastrophic deaths swept across a world literally torn into two continents, and humanity as a whole was nearly wiped out.

A thousand years later, the world has some-what rebalanced itself, and the races of Ila have been getting on with their lives. But as with every prophecy... how long can that really last?

There are several mature/adult themes through this series including death, violence, gore, language, trauma and other such things that are scattered throughout a person's life. That being said, there is also a lot of love (many different kinds of love really), hope, comedy, banter and general slice-of-life between the main cast of characters.
