Hello! I'm brand new to Tapas, although I'm not new to comics in any way. I've worked for the last five years on my fantasy graphic novel series The Tales Of Orlen, which is both written and illustrated by me. It now has two published books and I've posted the first chapter of the first novel Long Live The Emperor on Tapas just now in fact. My story is called The Shadow of Spirit, a dark fantasy novel that follows Kaito’s revenge story.

So where are we now?

After the Battle of Shinkase, his friend and companion Yume has been arrested by the Reketai, the organization that administers justice.

After meeting Genzō, Kaito sets out for this city, but from the very beginning he realizes he’s being hunted by the Reketai.

Hey Drewds! Thanks for starting this thread. Your premise sounds incredibly intriguing. I'm a huge fan of winter settings and stories about characters forced out of their peaceful isolation into a harsh, unknown reality. I'll definitely check it out!

While escaping, he meets a young boy who helps him get to safety.

But something feels off… the boy seems to know more than he should.
