To become a ‘hero of legend’, that is the dream that has at least once captivated the mind of every child in Hanakawa, and Kaito is no different.
It is easy to vow to protect everyone you love and hold dear, yet the actual path of such heroism is much more arduous, riddled with loss and sacrifice. After all, the lives that are to be saved always survive at the cost of others, whether it be someone else's blood or your own that must pay the price.
