Okay, so I know for a fact that Marlais was not born in Montana, and Therese George is most certainly not 38. Also I think you mentioned something that makes it impossible for Mora to have a father (without spoiling anything), but I don’t think the mermaid thing is entirely a lie
I was uncertain about the freak show thing, but both Mora and Marlais have mentioned it, so I think it’s true after all.

@applebun you are correct. Marlais was born in Wales and moved to Montana. Mora doesn't have a father, and they are mermaids, tho they usually call themselves 'sirens.' And her Marlais did in fact used to be part of a freak show.

Any guesses which statement of Verner's is the lie?

Hmmm, either the plumber thing or the hair, I’m pretty sure the last one is true. I say the hair, I’ve never seen a picture of Verner with red hair, and also his wife has red hair as well, wouldn’t Christopher have red hair too then?
Then again, I could be totally wrong, I kinda don’t remember anything about Verner. But I’m sure the last one is true because Werner (with a W though) is a very German name.

the red hair is a lie. He is a plumber. His wife's hair was red but got darker when she got older. His hair used to be blonde
