Title of my story: The Scarlet Thread

My main characters name: Auriella (Demoness)

My main characters virtue: She is wise beyond her years, able to lead her band of soldiers with little trouble.

My main characters fatal flaw: Auriella is overly cautious of humans, the value ingrained into her by her mother when she was young. This makes seeing the somewhat obvious ploy that happens to her a touch difficult to see coming.

Synopsis: The Scarlet Thread tells the story of Auriella, a demoness who once fought to save humanity from an otherworldly invasion, only to be brutally betrayed and killed by those she protected.

Reborn 20 years in the past, Auriella seizes a second chance—not just to stop the coming war, but to erase the hatred between humans and demons before it destroys them all. As she navigates this treacherous new world, the ghosts of her past and a burning desire for revenge threaten to unravel her mission.

Main Character's Fatal Flaws: Pride

General Synopsis: Ash Turner is just trying to live a normal life like anyone his age. After he splits from his cheating boyfriend, he moves back in with his father and younger sister and devotes himself to his studies, intending to lock himself away until graduation.

Things change when a merman, Co-Bieasah, washes up on shore of Ash's small seaside town of Marina Bay, gravely injured, alongside a handful of dead bodies. Ash's father brings him home and the two strike up an unlikely friendship that develops quickly into something more.

However, Coby is hiding something from Ash and his family, something that could potentially put them and the entire town in danger. Not only are Coby's fellow tribesman after him, but also known mythic traffickers intent on getting their hands on him and the sacred object he is sworn to protect, the Flame of Poseidon. Coby must get the Flame to a temple several miles outside of the town, but he also can't leave Ash and his family to suffer if those who are after him discover them.

When a misunderstanding leads the two boys to split up, Ash ends up in grave danger, and Coby must make the ultimate decision: save his people, or the boy he not only loves, but is eternally bound to.

This series is rated M and will be posted (hopefully) every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday at 12AM PST!

Dr. Jekyll's virtues are his kindness, patience and honour. Mr. Hyde's virtues are his courage, his honour and determination. Pinocchio's virtues are his spirit, his loyalty to his father and his resourcefulness.
Dr. Jekyll's flaws are his cowardice, he can be a pushover and he can be a crybaby at times. Mr. Hyde's flaws are his temper, his ego and emotional constipation. Pinocchio has body image issues due to how an accident left him in spite of the fact that his father Geppetto was able to help him and his own immaturity towards dealing with the trauma that came with it. In short, Pinocchio is an angry boy who lashes out at the world because he hates himself.
London's odd couple is back and there is a new strange case afoot to take care of as Prof. Geppetto Polendina is in London to share his breakthrough on perfecting artificial limbs in the upcoming seminar, but he is being incessantly harassed by Sir Carew who wants to privatize it for a profit. One night, comes home during a break in and he gets attacked. Knowing Carew was behind it though they cannot prove it, Jekyll and Hyde work together to protect the professor. However, it isn't easy because Geppetto's unruly teenage son Pinocchio can't stay out of trouble, Jekyll is desperately trying to ask Katherine the big question while avoiding his ex Emma, and Hyde is having relationship issues with Lucy. General synopsis: A young adult working to buy back her childhood home. Brutally forced into indentured servitude when her peaceful island community, Moorea, was taken over by a conqueror. She escapes her home island by joining the mainland’s gladiator program. Though doing well for herself, she can’t help but feel guilty for all her people who had it worse than her. For the living, she works to buy their freedom. For her sanity, she hones her combat skills to eventually defeat the conqueror.

I initially thought the plot would be fun, especially with the idea of "jeje words," but it ended up becoming much darker as I realized I needed to do justice to the world’s theme of "dominance," not just in name but in how it's portrayed. To balance that, I’ve tried to add a bit of humor here and there but I don't know if I successfully did that
