A bouncer, a nerd, a creep, and a charmer made up the mysteriously impartial entity that is The Paperbox Detective club, and their client of the day is in hot water, boiling water: Son Syun, a foreign international student with no friend and no ally in this nameless town, is being framed for the disappearance of the mega school celebrity Mark Corrigan. A number one target for both the cops and the gangs, Son is surrounded on all fronts by people willing to sacrifice her life for their own causes. She must survive this hardship, at all costs.
And the detectives, at the low low cost of fifty bucks per person, will help her do exactly that.
