âWhat would a man willing to do in order to save what he loves?
Varlaurea, vast and wonderful. Full of tales and myths, tale of mythical heroes, of adventure and epic battles, thereâs one of such tales that made me wondering a lot, a particular tale Iâd learned when I visited a Quelas church in Celgealia, wondering about⌠perhaps, Iâm not the only person from our world that had traveled to this continent. This is a story about a pair of brother-sister, who, although still have much debate among scholars and theologians about the pairâs origin, but thereâs one thing they did agreed on, was this pair of Brother-sister were the figures that laid the foundation of the church of Quelas.â

Chapter 4 âMyths and Legends of the Varlaurea continentâ
âMy journey through the Varlaurea continent has led me to a charming old temple, tucked away in the middle of a lush, emerald green bamboo forest. After a round of sightseeing, I realized that this temple didnât worship any deity, but an emperor from ancient times. Curious, I asked the templeâs caretaker about the figure being worship here. From the caretakerâs word, the person being worshipped here was called Emperor Suk Lam, the Dragon Emperor of the ancient Varlann Empire, a very respected heroic figure to the people, and even been considerate as the father of the people. Interested, I ask if there was any tale or legend attached to this emperor. With a face overflowing with pride, the caretaker nodded. And so, with a pot of tea and a few sweet buns, I sit there on the temple courtyard, listening to the fantastic tales of the Dragon Emperor Suk Lam, tales of his adventures, his battles against monsters and the evil cultist.â
