Gray Silker is an eighteen year old who's just been released from juvenile detention. Now granted freedom, she decides to investigate a recent murder at the local university.
Astrid Holler is the chancellor at the university, and long time family friend of the Silker's and Gray specifically. She's trying to keep a handle on everything as things begin to fall apart.
Soleil Meraquelé is a twenty year old smuggler, living life with Eilise Anaylifia, who took her in. But soon enough she's separated from her crew, and has to face her hazy past.
In the background, things are heating up in their nation - but especially in the demon community. The only leader now, Stefan Siris has been steadily increasing tensions and reigning in greater control of the demon community, for things unknown.
All things eventually collide, and begin to fall together - or apart.
