Yeah I think it´s interesting to show your character´s personality too by their sense of fashion even if it´s just a minor detail ._.
Yeah I´m kinda in that situation of thinking of giving them new outfits at least simple enought to not suffer or just draw them with the same clothes lol

although sometimes´s the character´s design can caught people´s attention
and yeah also the story´s environment depends so I everything fits, thanks

it´s okay! lol and Truee if is in a modern story they must have more outfits to wear cuz that´s more logical
although having certain like special outfits for each ocassion for the character seems good and interesting

well in my case I have some people who live in a little village in the old times with no tecnology nor cars, etc
so yeah not anything fancy

Oh! the color schemes do sounds good! so they outstand with extra characters xD
that´s why we give mc color hair and the rest regular and normal haircolors xDD
And I do agree sometimes I do get lost with my own story telling xp

Yeah it´s also fun besides that as It is know that the character´s clothing can show their personality
and the space suit for combat sounds interesting

Yeah I´m also in the process of avoiding my lazyness or rejecting it due the fact that creating their outfits takes time and all plus sometimes my outfits are kind of made up or improvised xd
oooh the symbolism is also something interesting and important for the character really cool!

Usually when it comes to cartoon characters (I don't mean just simple designs on TV I mean any character that is drawn and appears in a drawing, comic, game, or animation), they will almost always have the same clothing and then change their outfits only for special occasions. It's a good idea to have the same outfit most of the time, since it helps with recognizability and makes it a lot easier for artists to not have to come up with a new outfit all the time.

You can however permanently change an outfit to show their growth. Kids, teens, and adults do not have the same fashion styles, so it's actually a very very ideal to change their outfit when they grow up (or else you might get jokes about their clothes magically growing with them )

Yeaah sometimes I do feel weird too
or If I give other characters clothes and not the main ones
even if they don´t a large amount of clothes

ooh timeskips also torture me lol
the thing is that their main outfit is the one we´re used to and when giving them new outfits it´s kinda hard ._ .

Yeah their outfits must at least fit with their first outfit so the character doesn´t get lost for the readers I guess
