i would say about a 3.5 for me.

good enough to make professional work but not as good as the ones i idolize. smile

I'm gonna blow my own trumpet a bit and say 4.
I can get things how I want them to look but I'm no Stan Lee.

I'd say somewhere between 3 and 4 for me. 5 is a long way off though.

4, except when it comes to inking. Inking is the worst thing ever and I hate it ;w;

Inking -- 1 (i'm just...bad)
Lineless/colors/characters -- I'd say 3.5. I'm pretty decent but still a ways to go. Althought there's really no limit to improvement, so once I reach 5, the bar just becomes higher.

I'm still learning about coloring and inking, so maybe 2, 3 at the most.

I'd say 3. I see I've made a lot of progress, I can make characters look different when designing them (...and hairstyle is not the only thing that changes c; ), and can quite easily switch between few styles now. I also know there's still a lot learning in front of me- making arts more dynamic, play more with perspective, finally learn how to use colours to make arts amazing, get better in anatomy, and add more details to my works : D oh, and make complex backgrounds. And learn how to draw in semi-realism. There's always something to learn and try when it comes to art : D

Im going to go for a 4.2 I think more important than technique is the ability to evoke your message or intended feelings in the reader. I seem to have grown in this department.

I feel like I'm a 2, I don't feel anywhere close to the type of art I'd like to produce, but I feel like this will change the more I try and practice!!

The problem is there is a huge range of skill level among pros. I can draw better than some of the working professionals; hell, I WAS a working professional at one point, and I draw better now than I did at the time. But giving myself a 5/5 seems like I'm telling myself to stop improving, which is just crazy and scary.

its like what @keii4ii said, theres always something to learn! I think being the middle is healthy, I've just as much to learn as I have already gained!! smiley

If Simon Bisley or Otomo Katsuhiro are 5s, I'm definitely a 1 or maybe a 2. Long way to go!

0 (zero), I walk the endless road, there'll be always room to improve

This is such a hard question!
You can draw all your life and still learn!
But you should see your work as your best today!

It's all about confidence, right?
Then 5 of course!

On the scale of one to buttons i would say milkshake.

...ok i guess a 4... im close but haven't quiet gotten to the perfection of my style yet... soon tho...

I'd say I stretch from 2 to 3.5 Some days you just not feeling it right?
and then there are days where I was channeling some pro and all of a sudden I put out an illustration that I can't replicate ;_;

My rating would be... OVER NINE THOUSAND!!!!

What? Imposible you say? Well fine.

Black and White Lineart : 2-3
Coloring: 1

...yes I'm not good at coloring.

A 4 I guess hmm... Though I think that a scale from 1-10 would be better here = u =

I find inking much more complicated than coloring.

I'd rate mine 3.9. I have confidence in my art but I know there's still much to learn. I'd always keep it like this. (Oh, and I don't like even numbers, that's why too.)

I'd rate myself a 4! Confidence!
Although in terms of range and variety, I'd only say 2.5. ( - v - )

A good artist is always learning, no matter what stage they are at in their carreer.
That's how they become great.

2/5. I still have a lot to learn. I'm sure there are people who would argue with that, but I'm not a fan of my own art most of the time, and only once in a blue moon will I make something that I can show off as passable.

Hmm, possibly a 2.5-3. You guys seem super modest though, I think you should be a little more confident!

On a scale of grapes to watermelon, I'd say I'm a kiwi.

Maybe a 1.5 out of 5.

However, this allows me to be utterly shameless in the employment of cheats and tricks. I mean, what do I have to lose--my artistic integrity?
