There are few things darker than the empty cosmic void but I've never really put warnings on my story.
I would guess if you are uncomfortable with mental health issues, atheistic themes, stream of consciousness writing, bleak worlds, and zombie gore then I wouldn't recommend my novel.
I would give it a soft R rating to be safe.

Thank you for checking it out, I really appreciate that!

I knoooow, progress has been so slow, and it's been so much worse since 2020. Right now I'm focusing on reediting chapters 1-4 for print, which I'm a little over halfway done with, but regular updates have kinda been on the backburner. (Fun tip: If you ever want to print your work look into sizing and DPI before doing it, I waited until volume 1 was done, then realized I had to rescan and reedit everything because the pages were too small. ;v;) Overall the pace should pick up a little more in a few pages... or at least have more fluctuation.

Thank you so much for reading my comic, and for your perspective on it. I love seeing how people view the comic, they're always a little different. I'm glad you're enjoying the story, the awful characters so far and my drawing style in all it's traditional graininess!

Mine is very new, but it will, over time, become slightly darker than the norm for most webcomics. Unsurprising, given it's a scifi/fantasy/action. Tone wise, think along the lines of Full Metal Alchemist, Gundam, or Cowboy Bebop. The story is mostly adventurous, and it's not without humour, romance and heartwarming moments, but nor will it shy away from some of the horrible things corrupt and evil powers will do to those under their heel.

I read the comic! The things you do with lighting are lovely and I am curious as to where the story goes!

Your writing style is very entertaining! The story type isn't something I would go for, but it is something a lot of people would go for and I hope everyone who likes cosmic horror gets to read it in your great writing!

This series includes, mild violence such as blood, broken bones, broken limbs, lacerations and implied brutal deaths. There's also lots of cursing, PTSD, some usage of drugs and minor elements of horror. It's pretty tamed in my opinion but felt it was fair enough to include.

Started reading! The angles and shading are top notch, and I really like your sense of humor!

Oh well thanks yeah, I took a whole class on perspective 2 years ago so I'm glad it paid off lol. I'm glad you like my sense of humor too, I employ it quite a bit in this series I always like to have some comedy here and there but the comic does have lots of serious moments too. You might especially like episode 4! Feel free to subscribe as well!

If your looking for a dark recommendation, Sickboy by ghostoast is really good so far!

Hey! My comic is called In The Woods Somewhere. It's a surreal horror/slice of life comic about a high-school guy called Andrew who has narcolepsy. It's only just beginning and it's a relatively slow burn, but it's definitely gonna get a lot darker as it goes. There will be realistic dangers of manipulation and natural disaster, but also nightmares and more surreal problems...
IN THE WOODS SOMEWHERE1

"in the Woods Somewhere is a surreal-horror, slice of life comic about a teenager called Andrew, and his friends.

Andrew has narcolepsy with cataplexy. This comic is about his daily life, and how he manages his condition. Specifically, It details the odd series of events that took place in his life in the weeks leading up to a spring storm. Arson, smoke, nightmares, power-outages, ghosts, and a mysterious stranger who hides under his balcony at night, whenever it rains."

Aaaaah thanks so much!! I love finding new, darker things to read - your novel looks really cool and I like the cover art as well :00
