It doesn't matter how vile the romance tropes are to me.
I sometimes rummage through bad romances just for the sake of cringing and laughing out loud afterwards.
Then if it's so bad, I'll feel really angry at it and myself but at the same time it would spike my adrenaline rush to imagine better romance tropes, taking from the same premises and tweaking character attitudes and looks as well.
Bad romances and tropes make me productive.
In a way I appreciate that they exist, lol.
That said, the only exception is the Love Triangle. This trope is hardly handled well and teeming with bystander characters that only serve to be annoying and almost never value themselves.
Then Rape should be in the Thriller/Horror/Psychology category. Never in Romance. That's like the definite antonym of Romance. Who's idea was it to merge these terms?
