Rp to test out a new character of mine

“No no, you’re fine!” Aurelia said. “You study anthro/human relations? That’s cool.”
“What part of Earth are you from?” Marcus asked. “I’ve only ever been to El Paso.”

She smiled a little and replied,
“Oh, I’m from England. Old Town in Croydon to be exact,” She looked over at Marcus and said,”That’s cool, I’ve never been to El Paso. Though I imagine it’s a little colder than down here.” She fans herself and let’s out a slightly nervous laugh.(Sorry for the super late reply. It wouldn’t let me reply again yesterday since it was my first day on the website lol.)

“Yeah really,” Aurelia laughed.
Cattlecross was now out of sight. The three were alone in the desert. They traveled in silence for a bit, when Marcus heard a noise.
It was a low hissing sound, ominous and unsettling.
“Hey guys?” he said uneasily. “Do you hear that?”
Aurelia stopped walking and cocked her head, listening. “Yeah...” she said, “yeah I hear it too.”

Nyxi looks around worried,
“It sounds like a snake? But it can’t be, it sounds like a large creature.”

“You’re right, that’s no snake,” Aurelia said.
Suddenly, a pair of lights appeared in the distance. Aurelia and Marcus froze. The lights shifted ever so slightly in the direction of the group.
“Don’t make any sudden movements,” Aurelia whispered. “That’s a fourth class demon right there. They’ll attack anything that’s not one of their own kind.”

Nyxi lets out a slight low growl from her throat and moves behind the tall woman,
“I wish Selenius had just come and picked me up from Limbo.” Her fur is kinda pooped out in fear at this point.

“You have any combat skills?” Aurelia asked Nyxi. “Cause if that things sees us, you might need it.”
“I don’t!” Marcus cried, also moving behind Aurelia. “What’re we supposed to do?!”

Nyxi looks up and says,
“Um yeah, I do martial arts but that’s about it,” she moves out from behind Aurelia,”Sorry about that, I get a little skittish but I’m also a cat, we’re known for being feisty.”

“It’s fine,” Aurelia said.
The lights started moving closer, the hissing sound returning. Aurelia put her arm in front of Marcus.
Teeth appeared beneath the lights as they grew closer. Twisted into an evil grin, the razor sharp teeth were almost as blindingly white at the lights, which Aurelia suspected were the demon’s eyes.
Suddenly, the demon charged at the group.

Nyxi hisses loudly and holds her paws up, claws out, in a fighting stance.
“I’m honestly not the best fighter but I can hold my own.”

“Good to hear,” Aurelia said. “Hopefully Marcus and I won’t have to change into our true forms for this one.”
The demon bowled Aurelia over just as she finished her sentence. She threw punches at its face, but it recovered quickly.

Nyxi jumps and tries to land on top of the demon and sink her claws into it

Aurelia kicked the demon in between its hind legs. It screamed in agony at the blow and at Nyxi’s claws sinking into its flesh.

Nyxi then snarls and bites a chunk out of the demon’s back, trying to get a grip on its spine.

Marcus didn’t know what to do. He wasn’t good at hand to hand combat like Aurelia and Nyxi were. So, he did the only thing he knew how to do. He changed into his true form, an eighteen foot long prairie rattlesnake with two heads.
He tried biting the demon, but it evaded his attacks. Eventually, he finally managed to sink his fangs into the demon’s neck.

Nyxi looked up at the snake and yelped, loosing her grip and hitting the sand hard,
”Shit!”

Marcus flung the demon aside, hoping that the venom would kick in sooner rather than later. He changed back into his human form.
“Sorry,” he said, offering a hand to Nyxi. “Didn’t mean to spook you.”

She coughs and holds her side,
“It’s ok*cough* I’m fine, just shaken*cough*,” she stands up and shakes some sand out of her pink locks,”What the hell happened?”

Aurelia stood up, getting her wits about her. “That was a fourth class demon,” she said. “They’re the feral demons out of the four classes; they’ll attack and eat anything that ain’t them.”
She turned to her brother. “Thanks, Marcus,” she said. “We owe you one.”

“Yep! Thanks,” she shakes more sand out of her bag and fur,”Geez, there’s sand literally everywhere,” She lets out a small laugh,“So, which way is the second circle?”
