How do you qualify weird exactly? My novels have been called poetic and beutiful by some, and weird by others. I once included necrophilic romance and the nature of invisible minority groups, but generally the weirdness is more in seeing into an invisible culture that often doesn't get the recognition they deserve in the United States in particular.
Because as a visually oriented country, we forget some issues aren't as obvious as wearing a wheelchair, being lgbt, or being a POC.
Vampire culture is an overt example, but some aren't so obvious.
How society views those that engage is transhumanism surpassing their old homo sapian limitations to be able to sense mangnetism or install a compass in your hand is another example.
America's anti-body mod culture comes to mind.
