Here goes mine...
1- The difference between FAULT and BLAME is the difference between TRUTH and REALITY. Just like TRUTH, BLAME brings with itself the idea of perspective. Just like how a wrong truth from a wrong point of view can hurt more than a lie, the right lie from the right point of view can sometimes surpass reality. In a way, blame is quite similar. While one is to blame for their misfortune according to their own truth and their own perspective, in reality, it might be anyone's fault, or it could be nobody's fault, and instead, be a random mishap. In other words, a flaw in the natural flow of life that just happens. In my case, however, for this certain misfortune I am about to tell, despite how I keep BLAMING myself, according to my own truth, in REALITY, or what you would call an outsider's perspective, it was entirely my own FAULT. It's quite rare for TRUTH and REALITY to be synonymous in a case, and it's quite selfish of me to assume I'm to blame for something that was my fault, but either way, whichever you understand, whichever you choose, whatever you do, there will be NO plot twists at the end of this story. because now you know...that everything will tie back to me...I'm the secret twist, and I'm the one who will be confronting it. With a cold, expressionless voice, I will be confronting myself. So in a way, this entire volume...my very own story, is simply pointless. This story I'm about to tell, this story of wants and cravings, has absolutely no value to it, because everyone who reads this as an outsider can tell, that although I am not to blame for the main conflict of this story, in fact, even the existence of such a story is my fault.
2- "Our similarity, is that unlike you, who has lived through enough sad days to know they don't really matter, I've lived through enough happy days to know they don't really matter."
"It's not a similarity when you make a contrast using unlike you as a phrase."
"Well, of course, there are no similarities between the outlooks themselves, but there is ONE with the outcomes of said outlooks. Despite our differences due to our experiences, we both know, in our own ways, that life is not worth fighting for. In other words, you're seeing the glass half empty, and I was blessed enough to have water dripping from mine as I pass the events that composed my life, but no matter what we've seen, either empty or full...we both know that the glass, and the water, don't really matter...am I right?"
"You're assuming things quite a bit...You're so presumptuous I'd go as far as to call you an idiot."
"That's quite the claim you've got there...Well, I guess you do have a point there. I'm so presumptuous I'd go as far as to call myself intelligent."
3- "All I want to do, is to live under a rock, and just go with the flow."
"Even a dead fish can go with the flow of the water."
"And what's so wrong about being a dead fish?"
"Nothing, really; but the thing about being a fish in this ocean, is that the ones who follow the same flow, end up at the same shore...If you seek a different outcome, take a different path."
4- They say jumping is a great way to go; that it makes you feel like an angel, ascending from the sky, but then again, there are many untold shards of the stories they tell; the shards without which, their stories would make the least sense. Like holes in cheese, or holes in their plots. Like in this case, had they ever felt like angels, jumpers would have never jumped in the first place.
5- She was just the lonely existence, that didn't even exist...No...She existed, but just wasn't there. She had no presence, despite always being present. She was there, but she wasn't, until she no longer was.
Here's five of them on the top of my mind...from some future chapters, and the first chapter.
What are yours?
