So here's my comic Mena And The Gargantuan Island.

Recently I updated it with new text style. The original text style I used was a custom text I made using Calligraphr, I made it around a year ago. But due to my handwriting it looked small, blurry and overall hard to read. Which made is very inaccessible, especially to those with vision problem. Now it's all updated and I actually like the new text a lot more then my own text. I think if I updated the text it could be better, but that's for another day.

So what's a way you guys upgraded your comics. Weather that be with your art, text, or anything else with your comic.

I would say I upgraded over time. Just focusing on learning what my art style is.

I have recently been upgrading several early episodes and expanding them to include more world building, more story, more characterisations, more locations and more stuff. I’m pushing the boundaries AND producing more installments - enough to keep the series going through the year.

Around the 7th chapter I learnt that it was easier than I thought to add consistant shadows, so halfway through the arc the art change drasitcially.
I ended up going back and fixing the old chapters, as well as a lot of the backgrounds and some characters outfits, which even though delayed the story for several months was ultimately worth it.

Even now I'm going back and colouring the old chapters since they were black and white when I first started,
so still upgrading even today.

From Fourthly Puzzled, I upgraded quite a few times, from the format to some new designs. The artstyle though I kept it somewhat consistent.

Human Yet Hybrid on the other hand, it changed not only from the format, but the story in the way. Back then my webcomics were long pieces of art with comic panels, up until when I got onto webtoon when I changed it to do them from page to page. And the very reason why I wanted to change it in the way my comics are today, so that I can still add some missing elements that were missing from the original episodes.

Well, apart from just drawing better haha. I try to shade better and use gradients to not make the background too flat.
An important upgrade was very simple actually, just making the text larger, not by much but still enough. Which also helped me in making the dialogue more compact and space it better in the page so the panels don't get too covered.

I upgraded it by changing some of the designs and removing lineart from the lines and eyes to make them stand out more. I also don't reuse the same background again and again anymore. I tend to make different ones for each panel most of the time. At the very least, I reuse one for a scenario, but even then, adjustments get made.

I upgraded my series by using only pen and ink. I draw more often, which enhances my artistic ability. Lastly, I have added more research, historical twists, and even different languages to my scary stories.

We finally got an hdmi cord installed to transmit Butter Bee with more high definition graphics :33 not quite 4k but you know the picture quality is better … or butter >:]

I switched from a traditional medium to digital art, so now I can color my covers and shade all my pages

I upgrade once a month, black,white and grey style exept for the very first episode
I use clip studio paint and an xp pen tablet
