To become a ‘hero of legend’, that is the dream that has at least once captivated the mind of every child in Hanakawa, and Kaito is no different.
It is easy to vow to protect everyone you love and hold dear, but the actual path of such heroism is far more arduous, riddled with loss and sacrifice. After all, the lives that are to be saved can only survive at a cost, whether it be someone else's blood or your own that must pay the price.
