in deviantart oh boy, don't come there  people will criticize the heck out of you (even without permission) on doing ocs and character sheets. every thing will be pointed out as hell.

I have seen a lot of people of their ocs getting savagely reviewed on YouTube videos coming mostly from deviantart.

"add this shit or else you're a bad character creator !11"

"this needs more color slap more!"

yeah.

here are some of my character sheets. I know in animation it is common to have a full turn around and facial expressions for the character. You don't necessarily need one for comics but as you stated before it is a great help especially since you will be redrawing your character throughout the panels. umm, my advice is to do what works for you. The beauty of comics is there is no set rules on how you make your character sheet or character for that matter. I add weapons and backgrounds Chr sheets because I treat them as characters as well.

maybe when i finish heckin dead~

i love ref sheets lol

@Redsheis

Badass ref sheets you got there! ^^ I love the weapons aaaa

And yep you got that right, just do what preferably helps you the most with your liking. and ofc if they have weapons and important stuff they have don't forget em. I had ocs in the past who held weapons and I don't forget to place them on the sheets. I was more into gore, edge and violence when I was little lmao

@kip your babies areeee cool aaaa
Yep me too xD I was more of an oc maker, creating oc ref sheets and writing down their stories and background than being a comic creator back in the days. I thought joining the comic making community would be a better change for me to express my stories more creatively.

Not all of the characters are done, yet. But these are 2 out of the 3 main characters (Cozmata is the protagonist)

Hey hun can you- watches artist hubby slink under the table

Ahem we don’t have any at this time. It all comes from his head

Just finished the first model sheet of this new L2025 Japanese villain character and member of the Norms gang. See the synopsis of the London 2025 concept through my Tapas link on my forum page. This guy is still in development, but look out for further iterations, poses, and attributes of this guy (including his hoverped) soon on Tapas.

Like your colour palette and your brown sugar paper-like background - adds an interesting contrast

I never made real reference sheets (I know how they look like, so don't really need one? Maybe will do this later), only one sketch with all the kids full height and 4 sheets with emotions. Will only share 2, because Gil and Summer don't look anything like these sketches any more

Here's a model sheet of the perpetrator/villain, Brute with his hoverped in my pilot comic: London 2025: The Flytrap, themed around courier gang rivalry in a bleak dystopian London in the near future gripped with global warming.
Brute is brutal and plays by his own rules. As a member of the Norms gang in my London 2025 story, he's known for being a rogue agent and acting on matters on his own accord. He knows how to stealthily track down a rival Bohemian no matter how fast and skilled they are with their bicycles.
Follow my profile link to see a preview of my comic and learn more about the story.
Would much appreciate your feedback and support.
Thanks, E
