I grew up around a ghost that would flip bedtime story tapes in the radio for me (and yes it's confirmed that my parents didn't do it), and it would hover toys around at a few occasions as if to play with me. We believe it was the previous owner's dead partner, since they apparently raised many children and cared a lot for them.
I tried my hardest to dismiss it all as my mom misunderstanding things, her mind playing a trick on her, and me being a kid with a wild imagination. But then we began feeling a paranormal presence in the house we currently live in. The most physical and convincing occurence was when me and mom both watched a hand mirror being thrown across the hall by an unseen force.
My sister once got annoyed with this presence when it kept walking around upstairs (we heard clear footsteps in her room above us a lot of the time). So she made the VERY CLEVER MOVE of telling it to fuck off and go to hell.
Whatever made the footsteps didn't like that. Her room's air went near unbreathable, my sister saw a shadowy person moving into it at one point and when the night arrived it began playing some kind of distant music. I left the house for a couple hours the day after (she slept in my room that night to avoid mr.ghosty), and I came back to see one terrified sister and two very confused cats. Apparently there had been sounds, door handles rattling, knocks and more (my sister knows more about this part than i do) going on most of the two hours I was gone. The cats had been acting very weird too. My sister said the activity started as soon as she tried to review a recording we had tried to make in the room where the activity was going on the most the day before. I wish I could have heard the recording or sent it to a friend who has more knowledge of the occult but since the phone battery was drained the file is corrupted. (Personally I wouldn't say the phone part is paranormal at all. It's just sad that we lost a recording that could have revealed more.)
I left my sister alone with the cats for a few minutes again later and the cats began to play with a specific empty spot on the floor. Our cats don't do that, they play with each other or objects (they love plastic, but this wasn't plastic. It was an empty spot of nothingness) and have a lot of space to play on.
I've also had dreams that became reality, but I dunno what to think about that.
I also once came home to see my very old cabinet (old wood, so it requires human force to open it. Like... the doors push/grind hard against each other, so that's what makes it require extra force) stood wide open. Asked around in the family but noone had done it. I was sure it wasn't me since i pretty much never needed the things I kept in it. I had no valuables in there that any person would want to look into and then lie about opening it either.
Honestly I probably have a ton more that I've forgotten. The paranormal has become just another daily life thing for me so I can't really dismiss it anymore.
