I’ve just published a new chapter of The Shadow of Spirit, one of the chapters I care about the most.
The story follows the revenge journey of Kaito, the main protagonist of the novel. However, this chapter focuses on GenzĹŤ, an old man Kaito met after the Shinkase incident.
Genzō tells a part of his past: a life marked by violence and by killing under the orders of others. Yet, within that darkness, he once found a light… a reason to keep living.
This chapter is about that light—and what happens when someone takes it away from you.
