Good morning to you all! I'm making this post so we can all share our art progress to show people that they don't have to be worried about how their art looks, and that they should start their comic! All it takes is a step a day. Progress takes time and hard work. So post an early look of a character and their most recent showing. Feel free to link your Webcomic as well!

Starting a comic is a great way to improve art

Sooo, this was one of my very first pages... I started this in 2016 and last october was the start of the redraw of the whole story. I restarted mainly because of some story-elements that didn't fit anymore and of course, to not shoo new readers away anymore xD

Now, although I already see things to improve (it never stops) I'm super happy, how much I was able to improve.

And this is the old version if you are intrested in seeing my progress  I change alot in the new series though, so not all the info is relevant anymore.

That is thoughtful and heartwarming. Your art style on the characters is cute and progressing much better in both style and coloring.

My early comic pages didn't reveal the important characters until the 1st chapter but I can show you some panels before and after:

With your comic I'm really impressed, how you are doing the shadows now! really good job!:+1:

Me? Still stuck on hiatus, have decided that the chapters will be published monthly instead, planning comic in advance.

It's always awesome to see how people's art levels up over the course of their comic! I recently redrew my first 8 pages, which allows for an easy point of comparison for how my art has improved in the last few years.

New ones on the left, old ones on the right:

Recently I did this comparision, as I'm going through my early chapters to edit panels layout to a scroll view  while my drawing technique is the same, I guess I improved anatomy (especially when drawing guys), and also somehow my characters look older now:

Here one on the right is the same panel redrawn (still needs shading)
