This one I'm changing as characters get introduced

Making a good cover for Tapas is tough work because, by default, it's super shrunk down on the app, but it's very satisfying when it works out!

Lovely thread and lovely covers so far!

Here's mine, traditionally colored... the first one isn't currently displayed, because I'm at Vol. 2 and tapas only has one cover space XD

Thank you! These covers were inked, then applied with a Copic foundation, with colored pencil details and some white ink =)

Coloring with copic is so much fun, unfortunately they are not lightfast and bleach out very quickly >.<

Oh I love copics! And I agree, always store your art safely in the dark, they can endure longer then! :sparkling_heart:

That's true <3
It's only bad tho when you have to draw commissions, so I switched to watercolor later on, because this is lightfast =)
But Copic is so much fun  Finding the right paper is a hassle though, since the original marker paper is not good for blending.

Colored cover for my BW manga styled comic ^^

Hey hello! Thank you so much for this thread and seeing so many great covers  Here's mine if anyone's interested. I actually redesigned it 3 times!

I just updated the cover for my novel with this new one! This took me quite a while too paint (I think 12 hours actually :sob:) but I do think the effort was worth it.

Have you tried Ohuhu's sketchbooks? I find that paper to work well for copics too and its a lot thicker than most. And I agree with watercolours, though always get a good brand as some won't even last the week haha.

saw this and couldn't resist

This is the cover for my main comic Phoenix Quill it's the second cover did for it. I wasn't happy with the first

this is the cover art for my other comic where I just post whatever I'm feeling
