but also on that note, yes! when you look at the toppest top of male-oriented stories, boy characters will almost always be in the spot light, in the same way that the toppest top of female-oriented stories will almost always have females in teh spotlight (however, on the topic of romance, there would of course be many male characters too---however the perspective is still very often famel in this case!_) - however, dig through the layers and layers of onion and you will find many gems!
