an existential horror comedy, where the protagonist slowly realizes that he or she is a fictional character, then uses eldritch magic in the world of the story to seep out into the material realm and kill the writer, taking his or her place as a result... then does it again...

it's a horror short story that was written back in 1902, it's one of my favorite short stories and super creepy.

Your first short was already super scary, you seem to have a nice feeling for horror (yes, this is a compliment, albeit a weird one) I can't wait to get freaked out more!

I just wanna chime in that reddit.com/r/writingprompts sometimes has some neat concepts that you write short stories based on. There's no real rules for length AFAIK, most I read are just a couple paragraphs but you get some great results. Might give you some fun ideas to work with. Like this one, for example:

[WP] Your butler has served you faithfully for twenty years, working hard,...

"Your butler has served you faithfully for twenty years, working hard, offering sage advice and never complaining. One day, you see his bank balance. He's a billionaire."

It is indeed nice, especially this one, but the principle of this here thread was also to give a shout out to the people who gave their time to offer me ideas for short stories
I wanted to show what this community was capable of when united, so I have a few short stories out already, all proposed by either readers or creators from Tapas, and 2 of these are being turned into illustrated books, by other members of our wonderful community!
So I'll take any idea coming from the wonderful people of Tapas, and if you want me to try me hand on this one just say so
