Ah, I didn't see different user names. I've seen a lot of that art before, so I don't think they are even doing it. Pretty sure it's just a bot that someone unleashed.

Woah, that's the first time that I ever saw something like that appear on webtoons, I reported a couple as well. They're quickly being pushed away by newly updated comics, thankfully ^^'

Reported them as well. Looks like they've got a bot making new accounts and posting...how irritating
and unfair for all those artists trying to post things this morning! Hopefully Webtoons can get it under control quickly.

Tapas has had this problem in the past, too. They resolved it and there hasn't been a large scale problem like what's happening on Webtoons since.

They don't know the first rule about spam advertising: don't do spam advertising.

Now, speaking more seriously: advertising is like picking up girls: chasing people everywhere and inviting them to your place a thousand times even when they said no, is not atractive. Is invasive and anoying. instead is better to show what makes you special, wake the audience's interest and conect with them. That will give a better result.

A similar thing has happened on tapastic before (not sure what these comics link to, but a good amount of the ones the bots were posting on tapastic were to illegal download / streaming website) the staff had to work pretty hard to constantly clean it up.

It's one of the reasons you'll not see a 'fresh/recent update' section on the front page.

Aaah, yes, the great Baba-ji invasion of 2015. It was one of the reasons why community members were recruited to help out as forum mods. The forum and the main site were blasted with hundreds of spam posts every day over a couple months.
