Should I edit old episodes?

Hi! I need some advice. If you look at my comic, you will see a huge difference between my older episodes vs. my new ones. I've improved alot, but have let the old ones up to show improvement. What I don't like is when a potential subscriber looks and sees the old art, rather than the ones I'm proud of. Should I go back, redraw the ones I no longer want up, and replace them? Or, add on the new version and explain that the worse one is the original version? The only one I have no interest in changing is my first episode, because of sentimental reasons. What do you guys think?

Leave it be for now, to be honest the art hasn't changed too much to be a problem it's the style that's changed.
If the writing is the same then people will stick through different styles.
28 episodes is not enough to worry about such things, if it was over 100 then you can think about it. Cause then viewers will have to drift through a lot

It's always better to move forward then backwards, If you start redrawing things you will never satisfied and it will never end. We only got so much time to make comics, its better to make new things. And having a clear growth of art and style is good to have, everybody's a beginner.

Don't worry about viewers (unless you are trying to make a career) focusing on the numbers and potential subs will consume you, your art will suffer and you will continue to doubt your actions based on the viewers jugement. Don't chase the fickle people who can go as easily as they come, the best way to get viewers and improve as an artist whole is to make art for yourself. Because at the end of the day its the artist themself that cares the most about they work.

Nah, I don't think it'd be worth it. I ran into the same issue when we took Rabble! digital and switched from black/white to full color; but decided to make revamping older issues into more of a long-term goal than an immediate focus. Generally your time is better spent posting new content than rehashing old.

It changed but didn't change radically from the first few pages to the last; I don't think you need to fully edit either. If it bothers you enough, you can also change the thumbnails, do lettering or small shading adjustments, or put old episodes in a single long one. But these are small fixes that barely take an hour, don't go back and do everything over, it's all time better spent in new content.

I believe it does change. As a reader, I actually love seeing the artist's improvement and growth as I read the chapters. Especially when it's been up for a while and I am binging. Personally, it makes me feel happy and makes me proud to see such growth in my favorite artists and in comics.

As a fellow creator, I totally understand where you are coming from. Based on the style and genre you've got going on I don't think it's necessary. I don't think it will impact you negatively if you do or if you don't. Art is about growth and looking back at your old work and thinking, "Wow, this is so different!" or in my case, "Oh god...this...was that supposed to be a person?"

It depends on what you want to do. As a person who enjoyed your comic though, I can't wait to continue reading and seeing how your art changes even more
