Hi there! I’m really new to making webcomics and tapas.

I have been only uploading my webcomic(http://crimeandcars.smackjeeves.com/comics/2607394/page-6-episode-1/9) to DeviantArt and Smackjeeves because I want to get used to Tapas before I just jump into it. But the way I see it, only BL and doujinshi get any traffic. My comic is kinda unique, I can’t really put it in one category; but it doesn’t have any romance or fantasy for one thing:/ So, should I just stop bothering to try and get traffic there; and instead focus on generating traffic for the Tapas release:/

Any thoughts?

Doesn't hurt to have a few more audience in SJ.
You could direct them here in Tapas too.

Never hurts to have it on multiple servers even if your comic isn't noticed to begin with. Sometimes, just those 4 or 5 extra people you attract over there can be worth it. I know from my own experience that some of the more 'talkative' and big fans I have are over there.
Plus, some people haven't moved from Smack to other sites and still use that as their main web comic reading site. So keep at it!
But that's my opinion ^_^

I just got a $10 patron directly from SJ, so might be worth it.

It was from my comic that doesn't have any mirrors (yet!) that is a slice of life and comedy.
