The past few days I'm having the serious urge to reboot my entire webtoon. I know this might be a bad idea but hear me out. I'm 12 chapters in with a considerable amount of subscribers, and I have reached out to my readers to see what they think. Many of them were happy and told me they'd support me regardless, but some readers expressed their discontent as they're desperate for more content. This is obviously holding me back quite a bit.
I'm at a point where I'm unhappy with how my plot has developed, and I always have the feeling that I could have delivered everything in a much better way. The pacing throughout my entire comic is horrible and inconsistent and at this point I am very demotivated to continue and I am also struggling with the plot.
I don't mind my old art, it's just that the pacing and paneling really grosses me out and as I reread the whole thing it seems really oddly-developed with some plot holes as well. They say that you are your worst critic, but still. Re-making it seems like a good idea to bring myself back up. Now I've heard that rebooting is the worst idea ever since you would have to go through the whole thing again without making new stuff, and to be honest I agree. Having to re-gain allll of my subscribers back seems like a huge pain and I don't know if I'll regret revamping half-way through.
Any advice would be very helpful!! Thank you!
