@abigaillmartin Totally agree and understand why you cant get enough Harry is epic!
looks like he about to do something wild being handcuffed in a box by edge of ocean:
That's so cool too didn't know James was Anakin's inspo Hayden totally has that vibe thinking about it
Same also loved the OG and the prequels- totally ate those up too
Always heard Clone wars was awesome but never got a chance to see it
Had Enjoyed Rogue 1 also especially that Vader scene at the end
That would be epic!
These days a combination of Blender and Daz3d - lemme know, I can dm you some tutorials if you want As of recent, I've been transitioning to Unreal from Daz also.
Blender, Unreal & Daz are all free. With daz, it saves time building, human base from scratch (rigging, uv editing etc) and you can import it into blender and customize to your liking, make your own unique clothes hair etc.
In game dev school I learnt maya and zbrush so it wasnt too challenging to jump into blender/daz/unreal, but daz seems user friendly especially with all the assets and realistic material presets you can quickly build off of.
The latest unreal 5.4 continues to bring lots of impressive features also, not just for gaming -but also for still imagery and animation too, better than daz as it handles photoreal lighting in Realtime. Daz has a bridge to quickly send human figures and props to unreal. Unreal actually has modelling and rigging features, which i haven't dabbled too deeply into yet, not sure if it's advanced like blender but imagine it might turn into a '1stop 3d art tool' eventually. Also from experience making hair the other software, Blender is my fave got impressive results quickly, and blender particle hair can be easily imported into Unreal's Groom Hair system with physics settings etc ( Trenton and the other ocs in those unreal tests got Groom Hairs)
Unreal Meta Human
Unreal also has something called meta humans which can quickly get you realistic characters
(similar to an mmorpg character creator with sliders)
plus side: requires little to no 3d knowledge
downside: wish they had more variety in body types
however they can be taken into Blender and be modified to your liking
I think you can create it from web browser too
https://metahuman.unrealengine.com/
modified in blender- this guy turned a meta human into Kazuya from tekken
The other wild feature if you use Iphone is that Meta Human has an app called LiveLink (also free) that you can have the meta human automatically mimic you (i'm on the Android side so unable to try this at the moment lol)
forgive the long message, just enjoy geeking out at this stuff
Shows how advanced and easier to 3d resources (especially Unreal) is becoming
Keep it up and hope you find these handy in your art journey too!
