Okay, so let me break this down. I'm not asking for collaborators or anything cause it is a really weird idea and I honestly don't know how well it would work, so I'm really just sharing this for the sake of sharing it out. Because it's...you know by now.
So like I can't draw. At all. Not one bit. But I can edit videos because I've grown up with those resources always around me. And a while back, I made a YouTube channel with only one video before stopping due to my other videos all getting corrupted and just ruined forever.
Now, I'm writing some stories that are in the works to be posted on Tapas, but I wanted to connect more with my audience by sort of having a more personal comic just to share stuff about life. Like one of those slice of life comics. Remember, I can't draw and I didn't want to pester people with like "Hey, wanna draw my life for my own personal gain?"
So then, I thought, I could make videos! I could play games and goof around and just have a good time with the audience. Problem: I'm not funny by myself. If you watched the video I linked, you can probably tell that. I can be funnier when I bounce jokes off of someone else midgame, but never alone.
So THEN I thought, what if I played games with someone? And that whole ordeal spiraled into the idea of making a comic series that exaggerates my life along with the life of whoever I was doing these videos with, because in my head that person could draw, and I can edit videos. And then we play games and have a jolly good time.
So yeah, I guess this whole thing has sort of been leading up to: Am I crazy? Is that a good idea? Like, creating these personas and then making videos in that same persona? I dunno, I guess I just wanted some feedback on the premise itself. Whew, this was way longer than I intended.
