I'd love to sub to you, I'm always up for a new story to get attached to. My experience so far has been pretty slow with gaining new subscribers, but it helps adding posts on here to get your name out. I think it helps to have art as well, but I don't know for sure on that one, personally I like seeing more art if it's for a novel.
Here's all of mine:Genre: High Fantasy Horror Genre: High Fantasy Medical Drama Genre: High Fantasy LGBT Romance Genre: Sci-fi Romance
Today I made it to 20 subs with the daily updates 25 is more within reach then before, but let's see how it goes. I sub back to everyone who subs & has a book on their account, because I know how hard it is to get the novels off the ground.
I am tossing ideas around for a novel specifically for Tapas to write next, trying to pick an angel/demonic BL vs a werewolf saga. Not sure which once stands a better chance.
Congrats on 20 subs! be catefull with dead subs though! subs who don't read/like etc, pull you down in ranks
I’ll keep it in mind, but I’ll just keep posting and hope for the best.
that's what I did. you'll do great! I have no doubt!
Thank you. I am usually not picky. As long as it has a pulse, I am good.
ah that's good! you'll get to 100 in no time
I have two stories here. They are both LGBTQ+ friendy.
My experience so far has been pretty good. The community is very nice and welcoming, and I’ve gotten a lot more devoted readers here than on any other platform. I just hope I can keep the ball rolling. If you’re interested, I’ll leave my drama below.
I love this thread and will be checking out as many works as I can!!
Here's my work; a very gay and diverse vampire story, where love blooms over chai lattes.
Very gay and diverse vampire story sounds right up my alley!!
Sounds pretty classical
I love a good yokai story! Can I make a suggestion? The summary is so, so important since it's probably the second thing most people see. Readers see the cover, summary, and the first chapter. I felt the first sentence of the summary was a very long run on and odd to finish, and some adjectives repeat themselves.
Emi is a school journalist whose world gets turned upsidedown. When commuting home on a normal day, the future will never be the same as a local gang and a mysterious stranger interferes with her life. Meeting this person with a concealed, sword-like object sets off a chain of events that involve fight clubs, troublesome yokai, and powerful groups vying for control over the city.
Oof, it did read kind of awkwardly. Kind of embarrassed I left it like that for so long lol. Thank you for pointing that out. Also, you're in luck. Yokai were introduced rather recently in the story in the current arc going on right now.
Sweet. Now here is my Novel if anyone is intrested, I think my writing skills are a bit behind but learning by doing right? And I got 10 subscribers so I am not really of help here (if you searched for advice). But I wish you all luck <3
I feel you. I have recently gotten to 15 subscribers and it's stayed that way for a few days. I'm hoping once the new chapter updates I might be able to get a few more subscribers.
I just started writing on Tapas a week ago and, so far, everyone I've interacted with here on the forums as well as writers active on Twitter have been nothing but pleasant! I will be checking out the works posted on this thread after I finish binging the stories I need to catch up on
Here's my story: a classic story of fake dating but make it gay <3
It really bothers me when I don't like something but it has more eyes on it then my own work. I find myself wondering what this garbage could possibly have that my novel doesn't, and what I would have to do to get to where they are.
