Supported 27k ink to an artest I don't know. Has this happened to anyone else?

I was reading on tapas....and I noticed all my ink was gone. I remember have about 27,000 left so it was odd..

When I looked into my past transactions I found out I apparently had gave 27,423 ink to a creator... I never heard of this creator before and I wasn't even on tapas on the day it said I gave them ink... Which was 2 days ago.

I had a look to see if others had supported this creator and it turns out every single person there also give them ink 2days ago. Mine being the second most ink contributed ... And I'm so confused, what's going on???

That sounds an awful lot like like you (and whomever else gave that creator ink on that day) were hacked. And you're the second person I've seen come to the forums recently with an issue of ink having gone missing like this.

I also saw that post. I think I've also been losing some ink everynow and then, but, I thought that was normal, and you only got to keep ink you got through special means or something.

oh no that's awful. this is the first time it's happened to me..I'm a bit scared. I emailed Tapas about it, but i know in their faq's it says they cant refund...so i feel a bit lost

The app regularly gives bonus ink. However, that ink can only be used to unlock premium or early access episodes. The bonus ink have expiration dates so they go away after a while.

Okay so that IS normal. Good. To be honest I don't even really use it, so it hasn't really bothered me. Which is probably why I never really bothered to report it before.

Yeah the bonus ink usually comes in packages of like 700 or less. They stack depending on when they expire.
But if you see like 5k ink or more go missing, then there's a problem.
