as a marketing person you must have heard about the pasta sauce story with the crunchy pasta being sold more
enterntainment is like pasta sauce, you can make it as close to the competition as possible but the first one to make the crunchy pasta sauce will be the actual winner
Also I'm also a marketing person and I can tell you right now, entertainment is diffrent from products. fad in products aren't so fluid and subjective it's incremental. In entertainment one day it's purple and the other day it's yellow
they barley have anything in common and you just comparing series (even when they have literally 0 commond traits other than simple superficial stuff) shows that your marketing knowledge is woefully shallow.
if you can't get out of the bubble of all marketing is correct cause that's what I've been taught then sorry you are missing the forest for the trees.
