"what the hell is this!" Zoltan cursed as the Tentacles wrapped around his neck. it made him feel quite sick, he hated fish and the feel of slime "yuk!"
unfortunately for all concerned the tentacles rubbed off the super vampire sun lotion from Zoltan's neck and he began to burn, as did the tentacles.
"OW! SH*T!" creid the vampire and ducked into the nearest dark doorway and dropped Pisci to the floor with quite the thump as he beat the flames out from his neck........

"You alright?" Akros asked as he ran up to Pisci.

"Yeah, i'm fine..." Pisci said as the tentacles retracted back inside her. She started sobbing.

Akros noticed she started crying. "Whoa, what's wrong?"

"Why? Why does it have to be this way?
I just wanted to help him, but then he got angry, ran away and grabbed me just now..." Pisci sat down, unable to stand due to the burns and her emotions.

"People are complicated." Akros sighed and sat down next to Pisci. "Perhaps he will come back and you two can make up with each other."
"Maybe i'll treat you two to icecream or something else hehe." Akros chuckled.

Zoltan appeared in the dark rafters of the building (an old warehouse) smoke was still coming from his neck making him seem all the more menacing.
"You bough that on yourself!" He called "Go back to the Vampire Council and tell them my life is my own and I will go where I wish no matter how many super freaks they send!"
"I do not wish to kill you so pursue me no longer, or next time Zoltan will be your DOOOOM!" ....

Greer watched this entirethign play out, She began using her luck to cause things to fall just short of other people while directly the bad luck to herself. Currently her car tires were toast and she had gotten some bad cuts.

"Can we PLEASE sit down and talk like REASONBLE PEOPLE?!"

She was a bit worried her luck was going to lose it.

"What vampire council?!" Akros shouted.
"Did you ever hear of such a thing?" He asked Pisci.
She shook no, still too unstable to talk.

"She says that she has never heard of that crap! Did she even mention something like that or did you pull that out of your ass?!" Akros shouted again to the smoking vampire.

Zoltan heard the reply from Akros as he left the building, but gave no effort in going back. If they were indeed agents of the Vampire council why would they admit it so?
He made his way back to his hotel room and bandaged his neck. the burns were painful and would take along time to heal unless he drank the blood of a innocent, such as a small child. But he had not drank innocent blood in centuries, he only drank from deadbeats and evil humans.
now wearing his shirt with high neck collar and his deep purple suit, he made his way to another bar and spent his time drinking, he felt very down and alone, but in truth he had felt that way for a very long time. like Lastat said nobody tells you your going to spend immortality alone...

*sigh, i know i asked for some action to make this holiday more interesting but this is becoming a drag, i wanted to get away from all the fighting for once, Akros thought to himself.

he had been sat at the bar for quite some time and the drink was not helping the burning pain in his neck. Zoltan felt quite bad about what had happened, he never wanted to harm the girl just talk to her and find out what she new about the vampire council.
he looked at his glass containing two liquids orange at the bottom and a darker on top, he flicked the glass and the orange burst forward to the top of the glass. this is why they were called beach sunrise, fascinating to see and as close as he could ever get to a sunrise.
"give me another!" he called to the barman.
"but buddy you ain't drunk that lot yet!" replied the barman, interceding to the six glasses on the bar, all with beech sunrises in them.
"Just give me the drink!" Zoltan replied, throwing another twenty bucks on the bar

Chu smiled at the man's cringe. He was never this polite. "Sure!"

Chu looked over at the two men. "I don't think that drinking is a very good idea for you.."

Akros saw that Greer had sustained several cuts and wounds from using her luck too much.
"You alright?" He asked. "You really helped us out there."

Meanwhile Pisci contacted Drayden again. She wanted to know if he knew anything about this Vampire Council since she wasn't a vampire herself.

"Oh, the vampire council! I have heard of it!" Drayden exclaimed.
"But no, i am not involved in the council since the Great Count Dracula despises vampires that are not pure-blooded. And as you know, i am a turned vampire.
Not that i'm interested anyway, i have my own organisation to run." Drayden remarked.

after a bit of a sulk and a long think Zoltan came to his decision. he left the bar out the back way into the dark alley and in the shadows turned to his bat form so he could fly swiftly to the highest point in the city. There back in his normal form he stood for a long time smelling the air, every scent of the city some less welcome than others but eventually he had it, the one scent he wanted leading him to the one person he wanted to talk with. They had Unfinished Business and that was something this vampire could not ignore.
Back in his bat form he followed the smell across the city, high and low until he arrived at his destination, the hotel balcony of Pisci.
He changed forms once again moment before landing and tapped on the window "Girl! I wish to talk, I do not want trouble come out and talk with me!"

Pisci heard some tapping and saw it was Zoltan.
She gave him a bit of a concerned look. Pisci opened the door.
"It's you... you're not going to grab me again are you?"

"i give you my word, i never wanted to harm you. had you and your companion not resisted neither of us would have been harmed" Zoltan replied, rubbing his still sore neck "I hope you were not too badly burnt by the flames."
"I wish to talk with you on neutral ground, but first I want your promise you do not work for the Vampire council!"....

(i will be back in about an hour)

"Okay, i'll promise it. I don't even know what the council even does." Pisci said.

"All i know is that my superior has heard of it. I just spoke to him about it a few hours ago. But the council rejects him even though he's one of their kind too..."

(That's fine, life gets busy at times)

Chu wandered and found his way back to Pisci. " I'm back." he laughed.

He then noticed another man. "Who are you?"
