becoming mist was not an easy form to take for a vampire, only pure borns could do it and it tends to make you hungry, but it dose have it's uses, getting into locked rooms, hiding in fog and (more important at this time) checking if someone is alone in a wide area.
The thick cold mist enveloped Pisci and the area around her, and Zoltan felt her shudder, when he was sure she had come alone he took him normal form a short distance away and made himself known.

"Where i come from, vampires aren't feared as much as they are here. I think, based on what i experienced here.
It's probably because they don't do many threatening things at all there, therefore they aren't hunted by people."

"The chief did say that he has heard of the vampire council. But he said that he can't be part of it the way he became a vampire."

"But the fact that he is a vampire, pure or turned doesn't really have to do why i assist him in his own organisation along with some others."

I wonder why vampires are so fixated on pure blood. Pisci thought to herself.

Then he looked embarrassed due to the look Pisci gave him.

"No, he did not." Pisci said.
"As far as i can tell he is indifferent about vampire kind. The only thing he hates is how the masters treat their servants; as tools and disposable people. And that's not just for vampires. He hates it when anyone has absolute power of others and treats them like garbage."

Pisci's hair fell in front of her face, she moved it out of her eyesight.

"That's why the chief created a organisation with one specific goal; to rid the world of those who suppress others with absolute power."

They began to walk slowly around the pond.
"the vampire council are all old pure born's, from the oldest family's" he began. "a bunch of aristocratic snobs who want the world to forget about Vampires so they can run the world from the shadows through corporations, you would be surprised and some of the brand names owed by our kind!"
"The head of the council is of course Dracula, Or King Sh*t as I call him!" he said clenching both fists tightly.
"He is the reason I'm hunted, he hates me as I do him." ........

"It all started decades ago" Zoltan replied looking suddenly very sad " I fell in love with a human girl and married her in secret. for many years we managed to keep it away from the council, I was part of them back then so I could manoeuvre things to hide her."
"Then i was betrayed!" He continued with a look of pure hate "Dracula had my bride fed to the council in front of my eyes, all of them laughing as they drained every last drop of her!"
he paused for a second. composed himself, and continued.
"For my crimes, I was locked in a box a sealed in a wall. this is the punishment most used by our kind, for it is against our highest laws to kill another vampire. but for me it was worse, because Dracula thought it amusing to throw a pair of old underpants in the box with me!"
"do you know what it's like being stuck in a box for a hundred years with the smell of old pants!".....

"In that time in the box I swore my revenge, and when they let me out my revenge began. I killed the one who betrayed me and fled. my revenge on Dracula was to sell his story to an Irish man in a pub, of-course he had to change the end, make the world believe that King Shi*t vampire was dead, but it was out there the world knew his name and the tales of our kind began!"
"the old farts on the council were furious, they know that i will never let the world forget about our kind and for that they hunt me" he said with glee "I fear i will never get out of the box they put me in should they capture me again."

" so tell me" he asked after a brief pause "what were those tentacle things you attacked me with?"

"Those tentacles? They come from the tattoo on my back." Pisci showed the tattoo. The tattoo itself was black and showed eight curved lines.

"It's a power my brother taught me to use, which has been bestowed from generation to generation in our tribe."

Zoltan looked with interest at the tattoo "that is an interesting skill" he said.
"Being a pure bred I have a few skills of my own" he continued " some of the turned vamps get the odd black gift as it's called, but we pure bloods are much stronger although it dose take some time to master." " I can become a bat, mist, shadow rats,insects and even a huge black dragon" he said with a bragging tone "Although I only do the dragon thing when i really must, you have to sleep for an age to recover from that one!"

"i have kept you long enough" Zoltan said " The night is young and i must feed, don't worry their is a pimp not far from here who treats his girls like dogs, I plan to invite him to dinner..mine!" he gave another chuckle "I am glad we sorted the misunderstanding between us." he continued and gave Pisci a little kiss on her hand.
He took a few steps walking away turned and asked " You will explain to you big friend what I have told you, I had no wish to harm you, as for the child I knew he would not let it come to harm"
And with that he gave a nod of his head and flew off....
