"I'll just fly over them (the mountains)." Genii sniffed the medicine bottle again with a disgusted expression before downing it. "HA-HACK!"
"No you won't." Erras warned. "If you so much as open your wings up there, you'll be swept off to Gods know where." Erras took the empty bottle from Genii and returned it to his bag. Next to his bag, looped through his belt, was the rope he'd picked up from his hut back in Aamon. "Which is why I brought this along."
Genii stopped scraping his tongue to give Erras a funny look.
"I just hope there is enough for two..." Erras muttered to himself. He hadn't anticipated Gemma being along for the journey too.

"I always thought magic was a myth, but the last few days I've seen all sorts of wonderful things... that and what happened to Gen a few weeks ago." unlike her companions Gemma wasn't the most guarded person. She was used to being chatty and friendly (being a barkeep) and didn't see any harm talking to Mina - she seemed nice.
"I'm nothing special." Gemma smiled at Mina. "... although - not to blow my own trumpet or anything - my potpies are quite magical."
"We're headed to the city - Dovaan." Gemma explained. Bellah was half tempted to throw her second dagger at the siren to shut her up.
"It's just not safe here, what with all the monsters and Aamami running around... and never mind the camping, uh - I can't wait to sleep in a bed again." Gemma lifted her wings and gave her sore back a rub.
