Bellah ran to stop Aster but was a little too late. As the Spirit Caller disappeared through the liquid-like veil of light, Bellah skidded to a halt in front of it.
Gorn roared as some of his friends started jumping into the bright light.
(Oblivion)
As Aster exited the portal on the opposite side he would have felt a little disoriented, but the side effects of traveling to... wherever he was - was only temporary.
Behind himself Aster would see the open portal (which most likely led back to the others) set within an identical black obsidian frame.
It appeared as though Aster was now underground. It was very dark (the portal seemed to be the only light source) and the air was musty and old. Before him was a long corridor, lined with black cathedral-like pillars and a very high ceiling that made any noises echo. Scattered on the dusty floor beside the portal were a few broken bones and skulls. They didnât look like animal bones.
Genii was getting up from the floor a bit further ahead.
