God, I feel like a frantic mess these days. I haven't had much of a chance to read many of the novels in full. Most of the ones I'm really reading now are the ones I've already subscribed to.
But, oh my god. Pan's The Secrets of Jean-Baptiste is just what I need, I'm telling you. I'm so glad I don't have work because I'm absolutely bingeing this right now. It's so. good.
@Zaboem
When it comes to stories like that, I absolutely understand what you mean, but that just means that the author is doing a great job, yeah? Writing tension can be really hard, and putting emotions on the reader even more so. There've been those kinds of stories where I've felt completely stressed and wound up while reading them, but that's amazing. It's so harsh for the reader, but it's so expert for the author! Goals, honestly. Hopefully, if you do keep reading it, it does have a more peaceful conclusion. The emotional rollercoaster ain't over yet.
