(Ok back... lets get this moving)
inside a brain case with no frame is like being in a sensory deprivation chamber... it is terrifying. You know there are things out there but nothing is coming through. Not a thing. Most bots that can't handle it go into standby mode and sleep.
But sleep meant dreams.
Dreams meant the static man.
So she fought as long as she could. She tried to think of things. She tried to think if someone out there took what she had done to heart... that maybe she got through. Maybe... maybe...
Maybe they will, but don't expect it.
The static man voice. She was sure she wasn't asleep but it was hard to tell.
She felt a light pulling her. Build-a looked. It felt warm and safe. Systems and procedures. Rules and algorithms.
She would be fine now.
Or, you know, wake up to crazy goo on the floor and the not nice lady there in front of her.
"...Hello Doctor..." She carefully got up.
Query put her hand on Build-a's shoulder. "Reassuring statement: It is ok. She helped. She wishes to make things right."
Build-a smiled. "Great! So wha-"
Query did a data dump. Build-a hated that. It hurt her head. She got a full view of the situation as best she could. "Ok so everyone is heading to the mountains? That's great!"
She ran over to a computer and pulled up the schematics. Inside the mountains were mini cities. "We can pull resources to help everyone there. The sensors and cameras should be working as well..."
Between her and query she saw the Zephyr group first. She pinged a build bot in that area and it quickly opened a nearby hidden hatch, running over and trying to bring them inside.
A repair bot saw the ping and looked outside. It opened a hatch right by Alpha's foot. "Oi... grey supervisor says to get yer butts in here. Move it."
A heavy duty weather resistant emergency operations bot was sent through the tunnels to get as close as it could to Flare and Flare. It had its sights on the king and had strict orders not to give any information that was not needed. "Commencing rescue operation. Assistance to be provided to non human helpers."
It turned to the king and started shooting out a sticky substance that hardened on contact. It was designed to help do fast repairs to suspension bridges. But it was also good at binding up things that were nasty.
