Agreed. Video inventory has more or less dried up for us completely. After about 4-5 videos they're all done. It used to be we could watch at least 30 minutes every evening to rack up the coins.
Tapas probably does not like giving back 30% to Google/Apple. Maybe on the desktop/Tapastic version of tipping they could just add Visa/MC capabilities and make the minimum purchase be $5. Basic credit card merchant accounts only take about 5% plus $.05.
Yes, ad revenue per impression has improved which is nice to see. Hopefully the trend now is stability or a slight improvement rather than the ongoing decline that's been happening for so long. Generally with ads the bigger your audience the more you can sell and the more per impression they are worth. It would be great to see Tapastic getting some ads going from sponsors going forward, rather than just using an ad network, but that would require a lot of staff payroll that would probably be better invested just growing the number of users. Perhaps that is something that will happen down the road.
