2020 is a good year to me as a creator.
I've been reading on Tapas and its forum for quite a while since 2018, and my first reply is on 2019 December. And on January 2020, my first topic is written out of panic... Sad to see how this have turned out.
Anyway, I continued working on my years-planned series, and this year I finally able to post something on Tapas. First a bonus chapter on MAOR:Extra for format practice, and then on September MAOR has finally launched.
Also in the Tapas forum i started to open up a bit and engaged on posts because i love to see(and brings out) the differences on the creators. Topics for creators to share (especially photos/arts) are my favorites. I don't particularly want to be some kind of role to the forum, I only likes certain topics and make interesting and fun(and safe) topics, also seeing fellow like-minded people's comments also makes my day.
On Tapas, seeing readership grow is kinda nice-feeling (i was stoic about it at first but now i can see why) Outside of Tapas, my series don't as much readership. My Chinese site is even worse with very little traction. (I need to start cater to my Chinese furry demographics)
Besides making comic, a lot of time is building up things for the series: like planning new stuff, making side-contents, preparing new sites etc., thus slows down my comic updates. That will continue on in early 2021 as I still have more plans, I hope when i've built most of the foundations/sites, I can then pick up the pace on my updates.
All in all, my series is just getting started, and I have few exciting plans for 2021: Patreon tiers, some print merchs, maybe getting on social media (not my personal favorite thing), or more of my hobby music endeavors, or maybe post on Webtoon on late 2021 when there's enough content and i'm really for the Webtoon crowd.
